Accommodation
This spacious accommodation which sleeps 7/8 comprises the original stone flagged hallway leading to kitchen / breakfast room.
Also on the ground floor are the dining room and twin bedroom.
Upstairs are the family bedroom, the Teesdale bedroom and the lounge. All bedrooms are en-suite.
Ground Floor
Kitchen / Breakfast Room
The large dining kitchen which is fully fitted offers cooks scope and every modern convenience with Aga, Electric Hob, Elec Microwave/Combination Cooker, Separate Built-in Electric Oven, Food Processor, Elec. Mixer and all baking and cooking utensils, Dishwasher, Large Larder Fridge, Sep Fridge/Freezer.
There is a utility room with automatic washing machine and tumble drier.
A rear porch provides ample space for boots and the drying of clothes and there is a lockable store shed for bicycles.
Dining Room
People can enjoy cosy kitchen suppers around the Aga, or dine more formally in the 'olde worlde' charm of the large Dining Room with the log fire roaring in the original stone Inglenook fireplace.
The dining room has beamed ceilings and a seperate TV lounge.
Twin Bedroom
Ground floor twin bedroom with en-suite shower room. This bedroom would suit anyone with a partial disability.
First Floor
On the first floor are the Teesdale bedroom, the family bedroom and the lounge.
Teesdale Bedroom
The "Teesdale" bedroom boasts a four-poster bed fully restored (formerly from the home of Miss Hannah Hauxwell) and en-suite shower room.
Family Bedroom
The family bedroom has an antique king-sized brass and iron bedstead and a single bed with "trundle"mattress to accommodate an 8th person and en-suite luxury bathroom.
Lounge
The lounge has a large, open fire and colour TV.
